Cut (two) 1-1/2 inch slits one inch apart (about 1-1/2 inches from open end of canister) where the foam ears will be inserted.
- Cut 2 ears out of craft foam.
- Using the lid, trace a circle on the felt and cut it out. Glue onto the top of the lid. Cut a 1/4-inch strip of felt to glue around the edge of the lid so that the lid will be completely covered.
- Glue the wiggly eyes to the covered lid.
- Glue the small white pompom or Styrofoam piece under the eyes to create the nose.
- Cut the 3 pieces of pipe cleaner in half and glue three on each side, just under the nose to create the whiskers.
