Quick And Easy Child’s Apron

Category: Rainy Day Crafts

Materials:

1 dish towel, 1 hot pad, ribbon--grosgrain or long shoelaces

Instructions:

  1. Fold dishtowel in half lengthwise from top to bottom 2) Measure
  2. 5 inches down from the fold and stitch across the towel. This forms a sleeve for the ribbon.

    3) Place hot pad along the center of the dishtowel's folded edge. Stitch the bottom of the hot pad to the folded edge of the dishtowel, stitching over the stitches already encircling the hot pad. This will be the top of your apron.

    4) Run ribbon or shoelace through the loop already provided on the top of the hot pad to enable the apron to be tied around the child's neck.

    5) Pull ribbon through the sleeve you stitched across the towel enabling it to be tied around the child's waist.
