Rainy Day Crafts

Toddler Mud

Let toddlers help unroll the toilet paper. Mix soap and water together in bucket. Add toilet paper and allow paper to absorb the soap mixture. This mixture keeps at least one month. With this one there were suggestions that you could color it by using colored toilet paper, or by using food coloring (color the water prior to putting in toilet paper). If you add about 1/4c wallpaper paste to this mixture, if the kids make something (pressed into a mold, maybe) and want to keep it, the wallpaper paste will allow it to harden.

You can use half a bag for one color and etc. Place noodles on paper towels to dry, it takes a few hours, but when done let children string or sort the noodles.
